Managing Audio is Hard
SLOLCS 2021 is where my production started to emulate some level of professionalism. We had clean graphics, good, non-intrusive sponsor placement, and no technical errors.
It was interesting conducting this event during the middle of the pandemic and I consider SLOLCS 2021 to be the tournament that really showed the importance of esports in the Cal Poly community. Not only were we one of the only events happening within the campus ecosystem, we were boasting incredible engagement and consistent viewership with the event.
Everything came together for this event from the players, to the production crew, to the viewers, and for the first time I really felt like I was doing something good with Cal Poly Esports. It also led to me getting a job with CCI, which is a plus of course.
